Serengeti Under Canvas is a migratory camp, and tent locations have been carefully plotted to coincide with the documented movements of the Wildebeest Migration as it traverses the Serengeti and Masai Mara. Arguably, one of the best mobile tented camps in the Serengeti. The aim is to position the camps within easy driving distance of the migration on your daily game drives. Immense preparation and effort goes into moving the camp every two to three weeks in order to bring guests as close as possible to the migration. However, with nature being as unpredictable as it is, close proximity to the mass herds cannot always be guaranteed, as campsites do have to be booked well in advance. Guests do not actually witness the physical transition of the camp it all happens seamlessly behind the scenes. The camp is dismantled and reassembled in its new location, without the guests having to worry about a thing.
