About Gibb’s Farm
Gibb’s Farm is situated on the outer slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater and offers magnificent views of the surrounding farmlands. Gibb’s Farm is a working farm and the forested slopes to the rear of the farm are home to a variety of wildlife, including elephant and leopard. Established in the early 1920s as a coffee farm, Gibb’s has retained the charm of life in East Africa during the halcyon days. The ability to travel back in time is a rare and precious opportunity. Gibb’s Farm offers a beautiful setting among English gardens and the cosy en-suite cottages offer a peaceful retreat. Built in 1929, steeped in history the Farmhouse has barely changed and the main area consists of intimate living rooms, reading corners, a dining room, bar and gift shop.
