Sayari Camp is situated on the banks of the Mara River in a remote part of the Northern Serengeti. The northern Serengeti has been rated as one of the hidden secrets in Africa and offers a remote and peaceful safari experience in the Serengeti National Park. Guests can enjoy off-road driving, magnificent views and vast plains home to lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and huge herds of antelope. The game-rich Mara River is filled with hippos and crocodiles and guests can view the spectacular ‘wildebeest crossing’ of the Mara River between mid July and November. Sayari Camp offers luxury and privacy in 8 guest tents in a superb bush setting combined with thrilling wildlife activities and high quality guiding.

Sayari Camp Game Viewing and Activities

The northern Serengeti offers a remote location consisting of endless plains and vast open skies offering a peaceful wildlife experience including the spectacular Mara River crossings. Another highlight is off-road driving and beautiful landscapes teeming with animals in a wild and untouched paradise. Guests can enjoy a traditional African bush breakfast whilst observing thousands of migrating wildebeest and zebra. The Serengeti National Park is home to lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, and large herds of antelopes. The magnificent Mara River offers an abundance of wildlife including hippos and crocodiles. One of the greatest sights of nature is the extraordinary wildebeest migration. Between mid July and November, the annual wildebeest mogration moves through the area and crosses the Mara River. The camp is ideally located to make the most of the migration during these months. Outside these months, game viewing is still excellent with plenty of wildlife in the region and almost no other visitors or vehicles in the area.
