Serengeti Bush Tops Camp Game Viewing and Activities
Game drives may vary from early morning to evening game drives. Popular animals to spot are black rhino, leopard, cheetah, wildebeest, zebras and lions.
Early morning game drives begin before the sun rises at around 6am. The camp’s open vehicles brings guests as close as possible to the wildlife, just when the action is about to start. Few predators hunt during the heat of the day, so the early morning is the best time to observe the thrill of the hunt. It is also magical to watch the birds awakening and the sense of a great adventure beginning. A late breakfast in the bush is served in the bush before further game viewing.
The full game drive is the best way to see the full range of what the camp has to offer. It departs at 8.30 am, with 4×4’s fully equipped to cross the Serengeti in search of game. Lunch is served under the shade of an Acacia tree or overlooking hippos, which wallow in the Mara River. Field Guides and Kuria tribe Spotters are knowledgeable about the wildlife and their tracking abilities and laser-like eyesight are excellent.
Evening game drives have a character all their own, as most animals, particularly the predators, begin to search for prey.
