Set in the beautiful Lamai triangle (an area of land north of the Mara River, but south of the Kenyan border), Singita Mara River Tented Camp is a new tented camp with just six tents spread along the banks of the river, all very well equipped. With 16 beds surrounded by 98,000 acres of untouched wilderness, each tent offers priceless solitude, peace and sheer luxury of space. The camp is located on a bend on the northern side of the Mara River, providing perfect views of the wildebeest river crossings during the annual migration and also of resident game year round. Sustainable living underpins every aspect of Singita Mara River Tented Camp which is built from natural and recycled materials and is 100% “off the grid” relying entirely on a custom-designed solar power array.

Singita Mara River Lodge Game Viewing and Activities

The camp is located on a bend on the northern side of the Mara River, providing perfect views of the wildebeest river crossings during the annual migration and also of resident game year round. The camp is closed in March & April when there are long rains (good grass and game viewing after this). Otherwise this area is superb throughout the rest of the year. There is prolific game viewing in the Serengeti National Park from June until March with the best months for the migration being July to November.
